Methow River Rafting
The Methow River has Washington's biggest, most plentiful and powerful waves when the spring runoff arrives. The big, towering waves have made the Methow River a river rafting guide's favorite place to be when the water is flowing. With the Methow River, you get a 16-mile, Class II-IV river trip that starts off teasingly and closes with a rush. In just a few miles, you have rapids with colorful names like Oh, S__t!, Cape Canaveral, Another Roadside Attraction, Zero Hour, Staircase and Black Canyon. It's an excellent river for veterans as well as physically-fit first-timers. It is also an excellent river to combine with the Wenatchee River for a full weekend or two days following the Cascade Loop over both Stevens and Washington Passes. Ask us about these custom 2-day trips, or add a third day and river raft the Sauk River, Skagit River or Skykomish River, depending on your groups abilities and qualifications.
